In 2020, Matthew Michaud, alongside his wife Simone Michaud, founded Chain Breaker Law Firm. The inception of the firm stemmed from his deep dissatisfaction with the treatment of minorities within the justice system. Matthew Michaud, Esq., is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, consistently ranked as one of the top law schools in the nation since its establishment in 1859.
He stands as one of the school's accomplished, nationally acclaimed, and internationally renowned scholars. Proudly counted among the approximately 11,000 living graduates of the University of Georgia School of Law, Matthew is dedicated to leading figures in law, business, and public service around the globe.

Connecting his clients to available resources and opportunities to resolve legal matters lies at the core of Matthew's mission. With a Master's Degree (Summa Cum Laude) in English Literature, focusing on literary criticism, modernism, and medieval poetry, Matthew's academic journey began at Auburn University. There, he garnered multiple awards for his outstanding scholarship en route to earning his Bachelor's Degree in English (Magna Cum Laude), with double minors in History and Philosophy.

In 2020, Simone Michaud, alongside her husband Matthew Michaud, started Chain Breaker Law Firm. The inception of the firm stemmed from the couple's dissatisfaction with the treatment of clients within the justice system, prompting Simone––with her extensive background in business development, marketing, and paralegal work, to take action. Utilising her expertise, Simone spearheaded the company's registration process, website creation, and initiated a compelling marketing campaign. This strategic approach catapulted the firm from a single office in Georgia to an international entity, with offices currently being established in the UK and the Caribbean.
In addition to their professional endeavours, Simone and Matthew are blessed with four wonderful children: Christopher, Emily, Avery, and Dylan. They cherish their time together, nurturing their shared love for family and music while navigating the complexities of their respective careers.
In 2004, Simone ventured into new professional endeavors, joining Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPA as a forensic analyst briefly before assuming the role of paralegal at Topkin & Partlow in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Prior to this, Simone contributed significantly to Reliant Enterprise Communications in the Caribbean, where she served on the board of Directors as a Senior Executive Marketing Manager. Her tenure there facilitated the company's successful entry into the Caribbean market.
Drawing upon her profound understanding of cross-border corporate governance regulations and practices across various jurisdictions (WI, US, JAP, UK), Simone specializes in providing tailored services to ensure seamless and compliant transitions between markets. From regulatory compliance assessments to board advisory services, Simone offers expert guidance and support to establish robust governance frameworks and effectively mitigate risks.
